Bronxville, NY – After nearly seventy years of deals and unique offerings, Lawrence Hospital Center’s thrift shop, the Bargain Box will be closing its doors. “We are sad to lose the Bargain Box,” says Tracy Conte, Vice President at Lawrence Hospital Center. “It has been an institution here in the Village for 67 years and has had a great run. The decision to close was difficult for everyone involved, especially our volunteers, but everyone agreed the time has come.”

Bronxville, NY - After careful review of plans to modernize Lawrence Hospital Center, the Village of Bronxville Planning Board at its December meeting voted to approve Lawrence Hospital Center’s proposal to construct a new 40,000 square foot Surgery and Oncology Pavilion on its Bronxville campus.

Bronxville, NY – Lawrence Hospital Center has partnered with the Westchester County District Attorney’s Office to create “The ABC’s of Safe Sleeping” video. The five minute video in both English and Spanish, guides new parents and caregivers through a series of safe sleeping practices for baby.

Ms. Samra, a resident of Bronxville for more than 35 years, and mother of two adult children, is no stranger to the hospital. Her late husband, Victor served on Lawrence’s board for 18 years and was the Vice Chair of the Board and Co-Chairman of the Board’s Quality Improvement Committee.
Bronxville, NY - The bariatric surgery center at Lawrence Hospital Center has been accredited as a Level 1B facility by the Bariatric Surgery Center Network (BSCN) Accreditation Program of the American College of Surgeons (ACS). This designation means that Lawrence Hospital Center has met the essential criteria that ensures it is fully capable of supporting a bariatric surgery care program and that its institutional performance meets the requirements outlined by the ACS BSCN Accreditation Program.
