Maternity Program at Lawrence Hospital Center

Delivering almost 2,000 babies annually, our Labor and Delivery Department has earned the prestigious 5-Star Rating - the highest possible - from a leader in independent healthcare ratings. We provide prenatal testing and advanced medical expertise for at-risk mothers and babies.
Our new Maternity Center has 23 private, comfortable post-partum rooms complete with their own bathrooms & showers, flat-screen televisions and access to the Internet. The Center also features a new state-of-the-art Nursery for babies. Additionally, Lawrence has a Neonatal Intensive Care Nursery, for babies with special needs or who are premature. It is staffed by neonatologists from New York Presbyterian/Cornell Weill, providing infants with the same expert care as that expected from a city hospital.
